Aphorism and Sea Shell | June 6 - July 25, 2026

Aphorism and Sea Shell is a group show featuring Ximaps Dong, Sierra Kanistanaux, and Ariella Robinson. The show is about mythological curiosity, ancestral connections, powerful stillness, and ever beauty.

These three artists’ practices combine archival methodologies, in which ritual and historical curiosity play a big part and, at times, have a political aim. The result is a universal language of beauty and complexity. Through mediums such as ceramics, photography, textiles, and installation, there’s a nod to and a symbiosis with the unexplainable, unattainable, and what the natural world offers.
