General Information

The fourth edition of SF Art Week will take place Saturday, January 16 – Sunday, January 24, 2027.
This application is for art museums, galleries, creative spaces, projects, non-profit organizations, and temporary exhibitions or events to be included in the SF Art Week program and guide.
To be included in the SF Art Week program, events and exhibitions must take place Saturday January 16 – Sunday January 24, 2027.
All SF Art Week events must be accessible to the general public. Events may be free of charge, or accessible through reservations or tickets. SF Art Week does not facilitate individual event registration.
SF Art Week participants execute their own exhibition / project / events.
All images submitted may be used for promotional purposes.

Listing in SFAW '27 printed guide, with distribution including:
- SFAW Kickoff Party
- FOG Design+Art
- SFAW Participant venues
- Hotel Partner and additional Partner venues
- Insert in The New York Times January Weekend Arts section to ~40k Bay Area subscribers
Inclusion in social media posts
Inclusion in Official SFAW press releases and potential press articles in local press and beyond
Listing in SFAW e-newsletters to targeted art audience
Engagement with expanded art audience actively discovering and acquiring art in the San Francisco Bay Area
Inclusion in seasonal website refreshes
Invitations to attend or participate in special programming around the year including: art tours, collection visits, studio visits, panel discussions, etc.
Opportunity for inclusion in Further Triennial x SF Art Week Gallery Nights during the inaugural 2027 Further Triennial (see below for additional details and requirements)
Participant Fees:*
- Commercial Rates:
  - $35 Application Fee (waived for past participants)
  - $350 Participation Fee
- Non-Profit Rates for 501(c)3 organizations:
  - $25 Application Fee (waived for past participants)
  - $175 Participation Fee
Fees support the administration, programming, and marketing of SF Art Week.

We are thrilled to announce Further Triennial x SF Art Week Gallery Nights during the inaugural 2027 Further Triennial!
Commercial galleries have the opportunity to host receptions or special events spotlighting their exhibition, and be included in the Further Triennial 2027 program schedule.
To participate, your exhibition must align with the Further Triennial's theme: exploring Northern California’s modern and contemporary art by providing new and distinctive perspectives on a specific artist, theme, or creative movement from Northern California.
Galleries may sign up, via the SFAW 2027 Application, to participate in one or more of these Further Triennial x SF Art Week Gallery Nights:
- Thursday, March 18, 2027
- Thursday, April 22, 2027
- Thursday, May 20, 2027
You may host events, or just be open at any time on these dates, to be included, though extended evening hours are encouraged.
