Bay Model Residency + Opening (SF Climate Week)
Bay Model Visitor Center, Sausalito

2100 Bridgeway, Sausalito, CA 94965

Grenawalt will present immersive, large-scale paintings within the Bay Model.

The opening will include an experiential and educational component, inviting participants to engage directly with the work and the surrounding model. This will bring together art to explore rising water levels, shifting shorelines, and collective response, connecting scientific representation with lived, embodied experience of the Bay.

The Waterline Project

As part of her role as Artist Laureate for the Town of Tiburon, Christa Grenawalt presents The Waterline Project—an ongoing, site-based body of work exploring the changing shoreline of Richardson Bay through installation, public engagement and participation.

Presented during Earth Month and in alignment with SF Climate Week, the project unfolds across multiple sites around the Bay.

Ongoing Participation — Waterline Reflections
What does it mean to live near the bay?

Waterline Reflections is an open, ongoing invitation for the public to share words, drawings, images, and observations—contributing to a growing archive of lived experience along the shoreline.

This evolving collection gathers personal perspectives on place, forming a shared record of environmental change over time.
