NODE will open its doors with 10,000, a major presentation devoted to CryptoPunks by Larva Labs (Matt Hall & John Watkinson). Presented within NODE’s new Palo Alto space – 10,000 presents the CryptoPunks as a living artwork: a self-running system that continues to evolve in real time.

The show foregrounds the CryptoPunks marketplace itself as an integral part of the art, emphasizing that every offer, bid, sale, and transfer is both an economic event and an aesthetic one. The exhibition also brings together the full array of 10,000 Punks alongside key installations that illuminate their structure, logic, and cultural resonance inside a networked space built for participation. Renowned artist Beeple will also be exhibiting his kinetic installation Diffuse Control, specially curated by Matt Hall and John Watkinson and linking Punk typologies to centuries of portraiture.

The opening weekend coincides with SF Art Week and FOG Design + Art Fair (January 22–26), connecting NODE to the Bay Area’s art, design, and technology communities.
