Ethel Revita: Ethereal Material

Curated By: Leeza Doreian and Alexander Hernandez

Creativity Explored is honored to present "Ethereal Material," the first solo exhibition of Ethel Revita since joining our studio in 1994. This exhibition is a heartfelt celebration of Revita's vibrant artistic journey, characterized by her bright smile and warm spirit.

"Ethereal Material" invites viewers to immerse themselves in the dynamic interplay of color, texture, and pattern that defines Revita's work. Each piece is a careful composition where blocks of saturated hues resonate with one another, creating a mesmerizing vibration. Revita's keen sense of pattern transcends traditional boundaries, as she skillfully intertwines surface design and fiber art, infusing life into paper and textiles through intricate embroideries of geometric and organic motifs.

As you navigate this exhibition, we encourage you to reflect on the powerful contrasts and harmonious relationships that emerge from Revita's artistry. "Ethereal Material" is not just an exploration of visual motifs but a celebration of the deep connections between creativity, community, and personal expression. We invite you to experience the warmth and vibrancy of Ethel Revita’s work, and to appreciate the beauty that emerges when art is crafted with joy.
