Established in 2014 to create an international platform to champion art and design in the Bay Area, the 2025 edition of FOG Design + Art will bring together 59 exhibitors, including 13 galleries presenting in the second edition of FOG FOCUS.
The fair will take place from January 23-26th at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture, with a Preview Gala on January 22 benefiting the SFMOMA’s education and exhibition programs. The fair will showcase a dynamic selection of leading galleries, artists, and designers, celebrating the intersection of art, design, and innovation.
FOG is thrilled to welcome 15 galleries participating for the first time including: Galerie Maria Wettergren (Paris), Herald St (London), Kiang Malingue (Hong Kong), Lisson Gallery (London), Peter Blum Gallery (New York), SIDE GALLERY (Barcelona), Southern Guild (Los Angeles), and Venus Over Manhattan (New York) in Pier 3, Charles Moffett Gallery (New York), Chris Sharp Gallery (Los Angeles), Fernberger (Los Angeles), François Ghebaly (Los Angeles), House of Seiko (San Francisco), Municipal Bonds (San Francisco), and Superhouse (New York) in FOG FOCUS.
Visitors to this year’s fair will be greeted by FOG MRKT, a curated installation showcasing artisanal products and crafts with an emphasis on the Bay Area. MRKT will feature hand-crafted one-of-a-kind items, including a selection designed specifically for FOG. This year’s fair also sees the return of FOG FOCUS, a dedicated pavilion designed to showcase art by young and underrepresented artists, and which offers galleries entry at a lower price point. In addition, the fair will once again present FOG Talks, a programming series that explores ideas and issues relevant to the fields of art, design, technology, and our contemporary world. The programming is curated by steering committee member Susan Swig, and all talks are included with fair admission.
FOG Fair is overseen by a steering committee of San Franciscans with a deep commitment to the cultural fabric of the city: Douglas Durkin, Brittany Pattner, Sarah Wendell Sherrill, and Susan Swig.
FOG FOCUS is overseen by a host committee: Azzurra Alliata di Montereale, Matt Farron, Lauren Ford, Emma Hanley, Pamela Hornik, Sophia Kinell, and Chris Perez. Continuing FOG’s long-standing support of SFMOMA, the Preview Gala supports the museum’s exhibitions and education programs, while FOG Forum - a program that brings together designers to experience the fair - specifically raises funds for SFMOMA’s Architecture and Design department.
