Opening Reception: TEO GONZALEZ: NEW WORK

Meet the artist and experience the mesmerizing paintings of Teo González. Renowned for his signature technique, the New York artist meticulously crafts each painting with exactly 10,000 paint droplets. These intricate compositions resemble delicate, cell-like structures rendered in three vibrant hues, each work a tapestry of color that invites contemplation.

Teo Gonzalez, a New York contemporary painter is renown for his meticulous abstract works that explore the relationship between order and chaos. Teo's signature style involves creating intricate grid patterns of small, uniform dots or drops of paint on monochromatic backgrounds, often giving his canvases a meditative, almost hypnotic quality. By carefully controlling the placement of each dot while embracing the natural imperfections of paint application, González's work achieves a delicate balance between precision and randomness. His paintings are not only visually captivating but also invite contemplation on themes of time, repetition, and the beauty of imperfection.

Located in San Francisco's historic Jackson Square, Scott Richards Contemporary Art presents an impressive collection of works by mid-career to internationally established American and European artists.
