"Chris Trueman: The Edge of the West" Offsite Exhibition at 45 Fremont Street March 15 -  May 17, 2025

Scott Richards Contemporary Art presents a collection of evocative works by California abstract painter, Chris Trueman at 45 Fremont Street, in the heart of San Francisco's vibrant Financial District. In this public showcase of recently completed, large scale paintings, Chris Trueman creates moments of light and space that collectively record and represent the passage of time. Each layered gradient intermingles with gestures and color, overlaying the previous record and marks. Trueman brings the California tradition of light and space artists - drawing influence from artist James Turrell - by recognizing the unique light of living on the edge of the West Coast and the Western hemisphere into painting. This dynamic interface of art and urban space can be viewed 10 am - 5 pm in the modernist lobby of 45 Fremont Street through May 17, 2025.

'CONTINUUM: Sculptures by Merete Rasmussen' April 16 May 31, 2025

Scott Richards Contemporary Art is delighted to announce CONTINUUM, the first San Francisco exhibition of renowned contemporary sculptor Merete Rasmussen. This highly anticipated showcase will feature Rasmussen’s intriguing, multi-faceted ceramic sculptures, celebrated for their bold colors, seamless curves, and dynamic sense of movement.The public is invited to meet the artist at the opening reception on Saturday, April 26, from 4 – 6 pm. The exhibition will continue through May 31st.
